Meet The Founder
Hello, I’m Teresa Raven Meyers (Sewalelot)
Firstly, I’m a mother and a wife, and for the past 20 years, family-first has been our motto. In order for me to live that lifestyle, it required me to strap those beautiful babies to my back as I midwived, traveled around the world, and built my businesses on the go.
So Why EDTECH EDU?
My family and I are avid volunteers locally and globally. We believed that living in SE Asia, and working in cause related industries would give our children the best education possible. We wanted their lives to be a living workshop filled with cultural experiences, and opportunities to grow.
With my educational background in industrial design engineering and education technology, I started developing modern ways of study for my own children as we traveled, which then led to developing my test prep company The Scrub Ninjas®, where I developed the first ever test prep video game app for the MCAT “MCAT REVIEW GAME” and High School AP exams, “AP REIVEW GAME”. Which then grew into an instructional design and development firm, focused on Med-ed, and Med-tech.
The Vision | Make Your Mark Meaningful!
The true vision was to create services and products for educators, creatives, and visionaries. An online educational platform to enhance, and enrich their skills as thought leaders in their field, through online course development, educational tools, membership and training products.
Please note, besides having 25+ years experience in education technology, film and design, I’m also a midwife and eastern medicine practitioner. So instead of being torn between these two loves, I meld them into one.
