Teresa ‘Raven’ Meyers | Learning Architect & Creative Director

Hello, I’m Teresa Raven Meyers.

My journey as an instructional designer, learning architect, and global educator began with one simple desire — to make learning personal, purposeful, and alive.

My family and I have always been passionate about volunteering, both locally and internationally. Years ago, we immersed ourselves in Southeast Asia, engaging in cause-driven projects that became a living classroom for our children. We wanted them to experience education not as a system, but as a journey — one rich in culture, service, and transformation.

During those travels, I began designing modern learning tools for my children — blending creativity, cognitive science, and curiosity. That early work sparked what would become The Scrub Ninjas®, a groundbreaking series of gamified test-prep apps for medical, premed, nursing, and high school students. Our first release, MCAT Review Game, became the first-ever test-prep video game app for aspiring medical students — proving that education can be rigorous and joyful at the same time.

That family experiment evolved into EDTECH EDU®, a minority- and women-owned learning architecture firm. Today, we create inclusive, adaptable, and intelligent learning ecosystems that empower educators, innovators, and visionaries worldwide.

With over 25 years of experience in educational technology, design, and innovation—and a background that spans industrial design engineering, film, midwifery, and Eastern medicine—I’ve built EDTECH EDU® as a place where artistry meets analytics, where equity and innovation coexist, and where learning serves both intellect and humanity.
